"Aelafeat Zimare" primarily aims to encourage the younger generation to celebrate the holiday season through religious traditions and spiritual hymns. Organized by the "Generation of the Eunuch" (Jan-Derebaw Tewlid) ministry, the program seeks to draw youth away from secular environments and moral risks during holiday eves, bringing them together in spiritual squares and churches for collective worship.

The Addis Ababa Police and security agencies reported that despite the exceptionally high turnout, the program commenced and concluded without any security incidents. This 3rd edition of Aelafeat Zimare saw a record-breaking level of participation, making it one of the most significant spiritual public gatherings in the history of Addis Ababa. The event was broadcast live to a global audience by the Ethiopian Broadcasting Corporation (ETV) and other major media networks, including EOTC TV, Fana, and Walta.
